Bee responsible… Beehive Management Services was founded in 2017 by Pamela Chambers to support environmental and biodiversity initiatives by supplying, installing and managing beehives on behalf of private and corporate clients.

We offer a fully managed beehive management service, hands-on ‘one-to-one’ teaching services and a variety of ‘beekeeping days’ and workshops. Bee responsible… have a team of professional beekeepers that facilitate the management and training services on offer.

Pamela originally trained and worked in the Antiques and Fine Art profession before working for leading global companies in Fine Art logistics, Corporate Relocation Management and Property and Facilities Management. Pamela is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

In 2009, Pamela installed her own apiary of bees in Hertfordshire and during her spare time, shadowed and worked with a variety of experienced beekeepers and completed an array of BBKA exams. Pamela is a nominated committee member, newsletter contributor and Bee Diseases Officer of her local Beekeeping Association.

In 2017, after becoming increasingly concerned about the decline in bee numbers, the impact that this has on biodiversity and on our ecosystem, Pamela founded Bee responsible….

Pamela heads up the team of professionally trained beekeepers who manage and maintain several different styles of beehives on behalf of private residential and corporate clients, around the home counties and within the United Kingdom.
