The Bee responsible… team are a collective of amazingly knowledgeable individuals!
The beekeeping team has years of beekeeping experience between them. Many have their own apiaries of beehives and all are proactive in improving the quality and health of our indigenous UK honeybees and reducing pests and diseases.
Some have worked for commercial and specialist beekeepers overseas, set up charitable beekeeping organisations or have conservation experience. We are all united in our desire to share our assortment of skills and knowledge especially at our teaching sessions, workshops and ‘beekeeping day’ events.
The beekeeping team hold professional and UK recognised beekeeping qualifications and some have additional awards for specialist work that they have completed in Europe and New Zealand. Our clients’ beehives are managed by our team of beekeepers responsibly and to a high standard: our teaching services are based on the BBKA and DEFRA training syllabi, ensuring best practice.
The Bee responsible… team are client facing, professional and discreet having worked for high-net worth clients, large corporate or have worked within the service professions in previous careers. The team are all DBS checked for security purposes.
The support team manage the Operational, IT, Accounts and the ‘back-office’ side of the business and are also experienced in handling and working with bees. Their primary role is to support the beekeeping team, organize and manage the ‘beekeeping days’ and workshops and ensure the smooth running of the business.
